Another Saturday
I don't know what it is about Saturdays but it seems that this is the day recently that something happens that reminds me how blessed I am. I talked to my oldest son last evening. Brad had just returned from a trip. this trip was designed for him to see a new career opportunity. Brad is a school psychologist in DesMoines IA. He recieved his PHD about two years ago and has been working very hard for many years to be the best he could be at his profession. He was wined and dined and given a incredible offer. Now he is considering it. What makes me feel blessed is not so much that his career is going so well, we always figured that would happen, but that he is concerned with leaving his church, his friends and the people he works with. Many people in this world are only concerned about "Dollars" he is more concerned with the people around him and where he can serve God in the best way. This makes for again another Parent Moment. Cheryl and I could not have ask more and we could not be prouder.
